• Berkshire Mobility Transport Although is a Micro Entity, and at present not required to reporting CRP to Company House presently, however BMT is still committed to reducing our Carbon Footprint as far as possible.
• Berkshire Mobility Transport commits to achieving net zero greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 2040
• Interim targets: reduce absolute Scope 1–3 emissions by 50% by 2030; define milestone trajectories for 2028 and 2035.
• Keeping Up to Date on annual public update, third‑party review where applicable.

2. Reporting scope

• Scopes covered: Scope 1, 2 material Scope 3 categories per GHG Protocol.

• Total emissions: Annually 20000 Miles, Fuel conception Annually £7000

• Medium term: ≥90% reduction of Scopes 1–3 by 2040–2045, with any residuals neutralised via high‑quality, durable removals at net zero.
• Annual reduction pathway: publish a chart or table with planned tCO2e by year (2026, 2028, 2030, 2035, 2040, 2045, 2050).

UN context for 1.5°C requires deep cuts by 2030 en route to net zero by 2050. un.org.

5. Reduction levers and projects

Prioritise actions by carbon “hotspots” and quantified impact. Typical pillars:

• Energy and buildings

• • Electrify heating replace gas with high-efficiency heat pumps.
  • Retrofit: insulation, air sealing, glazing, smart BMS/controls; LED upgrades.
  • On-site renewables and storage; procure certified renewable electricity

• Transport and travel

• • Fleet transition to EVs; right-size vehicles; route and idle optimisation.
  • Keep Vehicles in good working order to reduce wear and tear and to reduce fumes into air.
  • Using emails to reduce usage of Paper, travel.
  • Staff sharing transport to get to same schools or return home, in order to minimise daily milage.
  • Recycle and fix wherever possible

• • Supplier Code of Conduct with emissions disclosure requirements.
  • Engage strategic suppliers to set SBTi-aligned targets; prefer low‑carbon materials and services.
  • Embed lifecycle and recycled-content criteria in RFPs.

• • Waste minimisation; reuse/repair; high capture recycling; zero-to-landfill contracts.

• At net zero, neutralise only hard‑to‑abate residuals with high‑quality, durable removal credits (e.g., verified engineered or nature-based with permanence and low reversal risk), disclosed separately from reductions.
